Kid Create Studio will be coming in to lead fun art projects with participants. We'll paint with plaster, tie-dye, make paper mache birds and fling paint like Jackson Pollock. We will even learn some art terns along the way. These are not projects to tackle at home so leave the mess with us!

Did you always dream of being a mermaid or merman as a kid? Now is your chance A trained mermaid instructor will teach safe fin use and proper breathing while swimming. Swim sessions incorporate movement skills, fitness, pool entries and exits, dolphin dives, spins, turns, and tricks. This is a great exercise to work those abs and get a workout without the sweat! (Mermen are also welcome to sign-up.) Prerequisites: • Be comfortable in deep water • Blow bubbles out of nose • Float 30 seconds on back, 30 second on front (must take a breath while on front) • Kick with head out of water • Roll from front to back, roll from back to front • Swim 25 yards in any manner

This is your chance to swim like a mermaid! Mermaid University puts safety first, starting our mermaids-in-training with basic swimming skills before transitioning into the monofin. A trained mermaid instructor will teach safe fin use and proper breathing while swimming. Join Mel Harper, trained Yoga Calm instructor, who will guide us in movements that are safe for and accessible to all populations. This class will integrate physical yoga with mindfulness practices and activities, effectively addressing the needs of the whole person, heart, mind, and body. This class helps children and adults develop emotional resiliency, leadership and communication skills, trust and empathy, focus and self-control. It’s especially effective for people with disabilities, including ADD/ADHD, autism spectrum disorders (ASD), and behavior and mental health differences but is open to all.

This interactive class is designed for little ones to become comfortable in and around the water. Emphasis is placed on learning through fun. By using songs, games and colorful equipment we introduce: floating skills, breath control, gentle submersions and survival skills. Parents will be in the water with their child for the duration of each 20 minute class. 10:1 Parent & Child to Instructor Ratio. Participants must be at least 6 months old by the first day of class.
